In early Easter egg decorating rituals, my sisters and I would always try to out do the other. It was great fun to see whose eggs would turn out the brightest, strangest, or funkiest.It is a great childhood memory of mine and the inspiration for thisart card. Sometimes the eggs would look very psychedelic, sometimes very impressionistic, and other times we would decorate using zany phrases we heard from Laugh-In. My mother never liked the later and always made her disapproval known. She didn't think it appropriate to cover Easter eggs with such catch phrases as Fickle finger of fate!, Let it all hang out!, Verrry Interesting!, Sock it to me!, or One ring-a-dingy…
