NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS
Every New Year's day I eat a can of black-eye peas for luck and write down my New Year's Resolutions. This greet'n card is based on last year's New Year's Resolutions:Stop biting nails, win the Lotto, world peace, lose weight, move to Europe, get a new job, plant a tree, and fight hunger. I am happy to say I did stop biting my nails! I haven't won the Lotto yet.I did work out at the YMCA for a total of two months. My roots are still firmly planted in Texas-Paris will have to wait(and I don't mean Paris, Texas!) I did get a wonderful new job-no thanks to Monster.com.I didn't plant a tree. But I did plant some shrubs(does that count?). And I am fighting hunger every single day-by feeding all of the stray cats in my neighborhood.
